I’m a Costa Rican, born and raised in San Ramón, Alajuela. The land of poets in Costa Rica. I’m an Industrial Engineer passionate about designing and improving processes —especially when it comes to Navigating Costa Rica.

My journey began in 2014 when I fell in love with Tamarindo, Guanacaste and as a hopeless romantic experienced the challenges of expat life firsthand for more than half a decade, living with an European|Canadian expat family and working in the tourism industry.

In 2023, I moved to Mérida, México with my dog and cat, to learn more about Mexican Spanish and local culture, while experiencing moving abroad on my own for the first time. What a crazy move that was!

In 2024, I took my first solo-trip to Europe to see the snow for the very first time in the Swiss Alps, and while traveling, I decided to take the adventure a step further by moving abroad to a completely new country on the other side of the world, with just my carry-on and a handbag to start my life again for scratch.

Embracing the city lifestyle, different timezone, language, religion and culture, I started working and exploring Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and called the United Arab Emirates home for 9 months. I learned over that time to put myself in the shoes of those who move to another country and start a new life abroad, with the goal of settling in less than 6 months, including my residency paperwork. I had such a great time!

Now, I’m back in pura vida paradise with a handful of new experiences and a fresh perspective on what it truly takes to live abroad. I’m now offering my clients the complete picture of everything you need to know to navigate Costa Rica like a local—or Even Better!
